AGS Provided Equipment for (3) 40,000 sqft  cultivation suites. One Suite was done with 400 tons of air-cooled HVACD packaged Rooftop Units.The other two suites had water-cooled, floor mount HVACD units and shared a cooling tower.  By using a water-cooled system in those suites we were able to install 700 tons per suite because of the lower system amp draw. 

In areas with excessively high outdoor air temperatures air cooled equipment can derate itself by as much as 40%.  Water cooled systems use the evaporation of water to dissipate the systems heat load. They also allow us to put equipment inside the facility where it is easier to service and allows us to almost completely eliminate metal duct.  On this project there is simply one elbow that penetrates the wall and connects to fabric duct..  The unitary controllers all communicate via BacNet and are also responsible for C02 valve control and life safety alarming.  There are small water source heat pumps to handle to support spaces and during the winter time the heat pumps use heat being rejected into the water loop to heat the building.  Below there are pictures  and videos.  These systems work best in hot climates and also very cold climates, eliminating the need for low ambient systems and also distributing heat from the cannabis cultivation rooms to the rest of the building to keep the spaces warm. They are 20-35% more efficient than air-cooled package solutions.
